VISION & MISSION

The Okanogan Land Trust (OLT) formerly Okanogan Valley Land Council protects the Okanogan’s open space and working lands. We accept and manage conservation easements received from private land owners; engage the public in land conservation issues, projects and education; and help owners preserve family land for future generations.

  • OLT is the primary land trust in the Eastern Okanogan and Western Ferry counties for protecting farms and ranches and preserving open spaces and wildlife habitat.
  • OLT seeks to be a catalyst for a broad, widely shared effort to sustain our rural culture and protect the unique qualities of this special region for present and future generations.
  • OLT enthusiastically partners with agencies, organizations, landowners, and Okanogan Valley residents to ensure the sustained beauty and vitality of our unique region.
