Join us for this upcoming OkaKnowledgy event: Lynx & Wildfire featuring Carmen Vanbianchi of Home Range Wildlife Research.

Where: PUD Auditorium, Okanogan (1331 2nd Ave N, Okanogan, WA)
Carmen will tell us about Home Range’s innovative research into how lynx use burned areas at varying stages of regeneration and how much and what types of fire-impacted habitat are sufficient to sustain a home range. This research is intended to inform management decisions to support resilient forests and conserve lynx populations.
Carmen Vanbianchi is Research Director and Co-Founder of Home Range Wildlife Research, a Winthrop based organization whose mission is to advance wildlife conservation by conducting high-quality research, educating aspiring biologists, and engaging local communities.
